Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Richmond County, Georgia. You will be based on a high-rise building site. You will fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
