Groundworker wanted in Macoupin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundworker in Macoupin County, Illinois. You will be based on a high-rise construction site. On a typical shift you will stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. What we are looking for: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
