Urgent requirement: we are hiring a brick mason in Kerr County, Texas. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 5+ years on the tools preferred.
