Ceramic tiler wanted in Buncombe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ceramic tiler in Buncombe County, North Carolina. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter You should have: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
