We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Ringgold County, Iowa. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges On the job you will handle: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
