Heavy equipment operator • Seward County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Seward County, Kansas. You will be based on an earthmoving and excavation site. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On a typical shift you will read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels.
