Join our team: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Coles County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
