Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Naugatuck Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
