Aluminium TIG welder — Newaygo County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Newaygo County, Michigan. You will be based on a structural steel site. Your main tasks: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 3+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
