Now hiring: formwork carpenter (California)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Nevada County, California. You will repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
