Immediate opening: we are hiring a press shop operator in Pemiscot County, Missouri. You will work at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
