TIG welder • Onslow County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Onslow County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
