Pipe TIG welder — Comal County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Comal County, Texas. You will work at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
