Tower crane operator wanted in Orleans County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Orleans County, Vermont. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Day-to-day duties: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
