AC installation technician — City of Hampton

Immediate opening: we are hiring an AC installation technician in City of Hampton, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving What we are looking for: • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
