Gas metal arc welder — Ashland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Ashland County, Wisconsin. You will work at an automobile body shop. You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
