Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Ringgold County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame You should have: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Rotating shifts.
