Vertical transportation technician • Los Alamos County, New Mexico

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will work on a lift modernisation project. On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
