Gas installation technician — Camden County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Camden County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
