GMAW welder — Avoyelles Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch 1+ years on the tools preferred.
