Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Carroll County

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Carroll County, Illinois. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. On a typical shift you will keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
