VMC operator wanted in Lamar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Lamar County, Georgia. You will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
