Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Scott County, Arkansas. You will be based in a residential tower block. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
