Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Cortland County, New York. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates On the job you will handle: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length 6+ years on the tools preferred.
