Shuttering fixer — Norfolk County

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Day-to-day duties: • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
