We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Bastrop County, Texas. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. You should have: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules The role involves brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN). Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $28 per hour, based on your experience.
