Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steam press operator in Anderson County, Kansas. The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
