Fabricator-welder • Kit Carson County, Colorado

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Kit Carson County, Colorado. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Pay around $25 per hour, based on your experience.
