Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦155,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
