MIG welder — Mendocino County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Mendocino County, California. The job is at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime On the job you will handle: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols 3+ years on the tools preferred.
