Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Dunn County, Wisconsin. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Full-time, day shift.
