You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
