Urgent requirement: gtaw welder (Maine)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Hancock County, Maine. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
