Finishing plasterer wanted in Bronx County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Bronx County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel Full-time with occasional weekends.
