We are recruiting: site carpenter (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a site carpenter in Washington County, Alabama. Your main tasks: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
