Surface coating operator wanted in Fairbanks North Star Borough

Join our team: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. On the job you will handle: • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
