Immediate opening: blocklayer (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in City and County of San Francisco, California. The job is at a groundworks and structures site. Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Six days a week, one day off.
