Day to day you will deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Full-time with occasional weekends.
