GTAW welder wanted in La Paz County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in La Paz County, Arizona. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
