Marble worker wanted in City of York

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a marble worker in City of York, England. Your main tasks: • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades What we are looking for: • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Full-time with occasional weekends.
