Moulder wanted in Borough of Torbay

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Borough of Torbay, England. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
