Garment machinist — Pope County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment machinist in Pope County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
