You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
