We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Gilchrist County, Florida. You will work in a garment export house. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Your main tasks: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
