Natural stone fabricator — Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural stone fabricator in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding The role involves: • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
