Immediate opening: we are hiring a plumbing technician in Saint Landry Parish, Louisiana. The job is in the maintenance team of a facilities company. On a typical shift you will make connections to the mains water and sewer lines; fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves; solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings; read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site; connect overhead and underground water tanks. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection • Willing to attend emergency call-outs Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
