Tailor machinist wanted in Overton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Overton County, Tennessee. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 6+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
