Great opportunity: refrigeration and AC mechanic (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Requirements: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints On the job you will handle: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Service split AC units and VRF systems Pay around £90 per day, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
