Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe fitter in Shelby County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Willing to attend emergency call-outs • Physically fit for lifting, bending and crawling • 2+ years' hands-on plumbing experience Day-to-day duties: • Replace worn washers, seals and float valves • Install geysers, water heaters and booster pumps • Read plumbing layouts and mark pipe routes on site • Detect and fix leaks at joints and concealed pipework • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Solder copper pipe joints and fit compression couplings Part-time with flexible hours.
