Crane rigger wanted in Ikot Ekpene

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
